We are a modern band blending classic rock with soul, blues, country and even folk too!
Trying hard not to sound like any one band, or one or two of our influences there is always something for everyone in our set. Bass player, Andy Cosby, and drummer Chris Spinks, both craftsman of tone and time, lay down the foundation for lead guitar player/lead singer, James McIver and the incredibly talented keys player Anthony Topper, to deliver sounds that feel both timeless, yet are fresh and fun too.
With powerful vocals, gritty guitar riffs, a deep-pocket rhythm section, and a style all their own, Myth is King is less about chasing trends and much more about making a connection with people who want to feel like they were just a part of something human as well as divine, something special. Every performance. And at the heart of it all is the belief that music is mythic—alive, powerful, and meant to move something deep inside you.
